Prelim

This is my preliminary task that I did shortly after joining the college. It was a good experiment because it gave us experience with working the different equipment and using the editing software on the macs. It is meant to be comedy based because it is mainly based on stupid ideas thought up on the set. We didn't really have any plan or anything to work from other than someone having to be interviewed by the police. It is really just me beating up someone and being caught (you may notice a slight continuity error where I have my hood up in one shot and then it is suddenly down in the next as I run off).

The next scene is where the two police walk into the room while I am trying to act like a hard man with my feet on the table. I am then shown up and have the living daylights scared out of me from one of the police officers. The aim of the film was to get across how stupid some chavs really are. The whole "have you seen this man?" and then I reply claiming I do not know him, even though I asked if it was Terry Fisher, proving I do know him.

We used a vary of shots in the sequence mainly match on action, when the door handle turns and when the paper is slammed down on the table. Also a long shot is used at the beginning where you see the victim walking towards the camera listening to music before the chavy ninja jumps him. We also had to keep the 180 rule and we did that fine, another thing we had to do was shot reverse shot, which we did whenever a different character spoke.
